Welcome to Pk3!!  We spend a lot of time learning through play.

Social Skills Learned Through Play

*Taking turns

*Asking for things

*Problem Solving

Religion is integrated into everything we do, by asking what Jesus would think about a certain things. We read a bible story every morning and discuss how Jesus loves us all the time, anywhere.  We also participate in AM and PM prayer as a school, prayer before snack, and prayer before lunch. Advent/Christmas and Lent/Easter are big times in EC3 where we discuss Jesus and what he did for us.

Our focus is on names in Pk3. We check in/lunch count using our names. Second Trimester we start writing our names. The goal for Pk3 is that students will know the letters in their name as well as being able to write their name.

Math is integrated mostly into calendar time. We count the days and learn a different pattern each month. We also count kids daily.

Science/Social Studies

These are integrated into the themes that are taught weekly.
